Donna's Tips

1. Tempeh is a fermented form of soy which is very healthy and beneficial. It is less processed than tofu and soymilk. One of its benefits include lowering LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides, and raising HDL (good cholesterol). Many women choose soy to help relieve their menopause symptoms.

2. Sunscreen should be applied 20-30 minutes before going out. If you are swimming or sweating, reapply every hour. Don't forget your lips and ears!

3. Relieve and revive tired aching feet with a warm footbath and 7 drops of peppermint oil. Soak 10 minutes.

4. Did you know that cinnamon is a powerful antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal agent?

5. When expressing angry feelings, speak soft and slow. Raising your voice and speaking fast and loud causes your blood pressure to dramatically fluctuate placing unnecessary stress on your body and mind.

6. Avoid lying down when experiencing heartburn. Walk around and allow gravity to eliminate the burn.
